36% Increase in the number of Senior Public Sector positions
05 Oct 2016 - The senior executive service (SES) has risen from 374 members when Colin Barnett became Premier in 2008, to 455 in 2012, and 514 in July 2014. .
The latest figures show SES numbers hovering around 510.
The number of SES positions has increased at a time when the Barnett Government is cutting public sector positons and is capping wage increases at CPI.
The former Labor Government put in place a ratio on the number of senior executives.
