Bigger Picture “Spin Bus”

11 Jun 2015 - The Barnett Government has spent over $170,000 on creating a bus and advertising plan for its already wasteful “Bigger Picture” advertising campaign.

The decision to spend $170,000 on a bus as part of the ‘Bigger Picture’ advertising comes at a times when cuts are being to services in health and education.

The bus has cost $50,000 to be decorated in ‘Bigger Picture’ propaganda and will be able to inform no more than a handful of people at a time of the benefits of the chosen projects.

A Freedom of Information Application confirmed the bus was not due to be retired until the middle of 2017, despite the Transport Minister telling Parliament it was an “out of service transport bus”.
